Our environment currently facing two global crises, dramatic biodiversity loss and climate change. The conservation of natural areas is a critical component of efforts to mitigate the impacts of climate change. Off Grid eXperience was created with to help address this environmental crisis through biodiversity preservation, restoration, monitoring and learning. It is based on this unique piece of property that under our stewardship.

This property has remained virtually untouched for decades making it an environmental gem and perfect for environment biodiversity baseline assessment and monitoring. The diverse Bio Zones including;  River, River Bank, River Island, Ox Bow Lake, Marsh, Riparian Forest, Mature Forest and Prairie Grasslands provide a wide variety of restoration and monitoring opportunities. 

Our plan is to use a technology focused approach in creating a world class Online Bio Informatics Learning Experience based on the unique biodiversity of this property. We plan to include baseline surveys (flora, fauna, aquatic), lidar surveys, aerial imagery, real time monitoring and sampling, live web cams, game cams and photographic documentation. This web site is the genesis of this project.

Our primary goals are to preserve the rich diversity of plant, animal and aquatic life, minimize our ecological footprint and to share our knowledge to help motivate people to protect and preserve the fragile biodiversity of our natural ecosystems in the environment.
