Fall Site Visit 10/27/2024
This was a very successful site visit. We recovered the sim cards from the game cams and discovered a pleasant surprise at the open end of the oxbow. A beaver dam. The beavers have taken over the job of site hydrologists. This does not appear to be the primary dam but rather a means of keeping the oxbow water level high.

Trail Clearing and Game Cam Setup Fall 2024
Another very successful site visit. We retrieved the SIM cards in the Game Cams and put in larger capacity cards for the fall/winter season. We also made progress clearing the Prairie Grass Forest Trail and the River Trail to the Beaver Dam. Setup a new game cam in a high traffic area by the beaver dam. The video shows the clearing of the game trail area.
