In order to prepare the property for our biodiversity baseline assessments we require off grid infrastructure to support the restoration and monitoring activities, research assets and people.
We plan to restrict access to the property to Associate Groups, Volunteers and Research Partners (no public access). This will allow us to share the rich biodiversity that exists on the property through our bioinformatics system while minimizing our ecological footprint.
This infrastructure includes but is not limited to the following:
Access Loop off Highway, ATV Trail
Access Trails, Camp Site, Water Source, Compostable toilet, Cooking Facilities
Docks, Boardwalks, structures, duck boxes, bird houses, bee hives, etc.
Solar Power Installation, Network Infrastructure, Wi-Fi, live cams, etc.
Most of the structural building materials will be sourced on site.
